Common use of Indigenous Peoples Clause in Contracts

Indigenous Peoples. 8. The Borrower shall ensure that the Project does not have any indigenous people’s impacts within the meaning of the Safeguard Policy Statement. In the event that a Subproject does have any such impact, the Borrower shall take all steps required to ensure that the Subproject complies with the applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower, the Safeguard Policy Statement and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.

Indigenous Peoples. 85. The Borrower shall ensure that the Project does not have any indigenous people’s peoples impacts within the meaning of the Safeguard Policy Statement. In the event that a Subproject the Project does have any such impact, the Borrower shall take all steps required to ensure that the Subproject Project complies with the applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower, the Safeguard Policy Statement and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a the Safeguards Monitoring Report.

In the event that a Subproject the Project does have any such impact, the Borrower shall take all steps required to ensure that the Subproject Project complies with the applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower, the Borrower and with ADB’s Safeguard Policy Statement and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring ReportStatement.

In the event that a Subproject the Project does have any such impact, the Borrower and the EA shall take all steps required to ensure that the Subproject complies preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project comply with the (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower, Borrower and the Safeguard Policy Statement State relating to indigenous peoples; and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report(b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards.
