Common use of Indigenous Peoples Clause in Contracts

Indigenous Peoples. 5. The Borrower shall ensure and cause the Project Executing Agency to ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower relating to indigenous peoples; (b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards; and (c) all measures and requirements set forth in any indigenous people’s plan, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.

Indigenous Peoples. 513. The Borrower shall ensure and or cause the Project Executing Agency to ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower relating to indigenous peoples; (b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards; and (c) all measures and requirements set forth in any indigenous people’s plan, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.the REMDF; and

The Borrower and the State shall ensure and cause the Project Executing Agency to ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower relating to indigenous peoples; (b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards; and (c) all measures and requirements set forth in any indigenous people’s planthe IPP, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.

The Borrower shall ensure and or cause the Project Executing Agency Implementing Agencies to ensure that the preparation, design, construction, implementation and operation of the Project and all Project facilities comply with (a) all applicable laws the Borrower’s obligations as a signatory to the ILO Convention 107 on Indigenous and regulations of the Borrower relating to indigenous peoplesTribal Populations Convention, 1957; (b) the Indigenous Peoples Safeguards; and (c) all measures and requirements set forth in any indigenous people’s planthe IPP, and any corrective or preventative actions set forth in a Safeguards Monitoring Report.
