Common use of Independent Study Clause in Contracts

Independent Study. Independent study is a program of independent study, research, and/or experience directly related to the duties described in the employee’s job description or related classification as determined by the Retraining and Study Committee, which promises professional values equivalent to that derived from formal study at a recognized educational institution.

Faculty member contact under an independent study, research, and/or experience directly related to study is arranged between the duties described in the employee’s job description or related classification as determined by the Retraining faculty member and Study Committee, which promises professional values equivalent to that derived from formal study at a recognized educational institutionstudent and is not clustered with other classes.
