Independent Operator. The parties agree that Operator shall operate hereunder as an independent Operator as to all rights and privileges granted herein and not as an agent, representative, servant or employee of the City; that Operator shall be solely responsible for the acts and omissions of its officers, agents, Operators, Sub-Operators, servants and employees, and nothing herein shall be construed as creating a partnership or joint enterprise between the City and Operator.
Independent Operator. It is understood by the parties that the Permit Holder is an independent operator and contractor, and is neither an employee nor an agent of the County or the Airport.

Subject to the provisions of this Contract, the Operator will be solely responsible for the manner in which this Contract is performed. The Operator’s Staff and Sub-Contractors will be under the complete control of the Operator and will not be deemed to be employees of the Authority, and nothing contained in this Contract or in any Sub-Contract awarded by the Operator will be construed to create any contractual relationship between any such employees, representatives or Sub- Contractors and the Authority.

Independent Operator. Subject to this Contract, the selection, replacement, hours of work and remuneration of the Operator's Personnel will be determined by the Operator and they will be employees or agents of the Operator alone and the Operator must use its best endeavours to ensure that they are not regarded as employees or agents of NSW Ambulance. If, notwithstanding this clause 6.4, the Operator's Personnel are deemed to be employees or agents of NSW Ambulance for any purpose, the Operator shall indemnify and forever keep indemnified NSW Ambulance against any Loss arising as a result thereof. Where permitted by Law, this is to be noted in the Operator's insurance policies.
Independent Operator. 4.1. The Contractor shall act as an independent operator. This agreement must therefore be explained in such a manner that the relationship between the parties may under no circumstances be viewed as that of superior/subordinate, client/agent or employer/employee. None of the employees of the Contractor may in any manner whatsoever be viewed as employees of Xxx xxx Xxxxx. The Contractor and/or its employees may in no manner whatsoever make claim to the staff benefits and/or remunerations paid by Xxx xxx Xxxxx to its employees.
Independent Operator. Consolidated hereby contracts with Great Plains as an independent lessee/operator to lease certain assets of and to assume certain leases of and to operate and manage the wastewater treatment business of Consolidated Wastewater. Nothing herein shall be construed as creating an agency or employer-employee relationship between the Great Plains and Consolidated.
Independent Operator. With respect to any App Payment for Trip resulting from a Trip Request accepted by you via Your Device or a Verifone Device, if you have completed all forms required by Verifone for electronic funds transfer, then Verifone will remit the applicable Remittal Amount for an App Payment to you within two (2) business days of the date on which the App Payment is processed.

Operator shall assume sole responsibility for any debts or liabilities that may be incurred by Operator in fulfilling the terms of this Contract, and shall be solely responsible for the payment of all federal, state and local taxes which may accrue because of this Contract. Nothing in this Contract shall be interpreted as authorizing Operator to incur any obligation of any kind on the behalf of City or its staff. Operator agrees that no health/hospitalization benefits, workers' compensation and/or similar benefits available to City employees will inure to the benefit of Operator or Operator's agents and/or employees as a result of this Contract.
