Independent Estimate. Upon receipt of any GMP Proposal from the Job Order Contractor, the City may submit the same documents that were used by Job Order Contractor in developing its GMP to an independent third party for review and verification. The third party will develop an independent estimate of the Cost of the Work and review the Job Order Schedule for the associated scope of the GMP Proposals.

Independent Estimate. Construction Manager must prepare an independent estimate of all components of the Project Budget at the end of each Phase. This estimate must be based on all costs that a prudent and experienced designer and contractor would incur, as well as known facts, construction tasks, supplemental judgments, and other economic analyses necessary to support the design decision. The cost estimate submitted for 100% Working Drawings Phase will be used as the basis to determine if the Contractor(s)'s proposed price to construct the Project is fair and reasonable and reflects the understanding of the Project requirements and the terms and conditions of the Construction Phase contract.
Independent Estimate. If the Licensees and NMFS disagree that the habitat expansion action(s) recommended in the Final Habitat Expansion Plan are estimated to meet the Habitat Expansion Threshold, the Licensees and NMFS shall select a neutral third party with appropriate expertise to make an independent estimate.   • Independent Audits The Department staff shall review annual independent audits for adherence to generally accepted auditing principles and to the Department’s audit instructions. Incomplete or incorrect audits may be returned to the Grantee for correction.
