Included Software. Verifone Payment Application Verifone will provide you with a terminal application suitable for the applicable payment device model that is designed for payment processing, including credit, debit, gift, and other electronic payments. Verifone will provide you with information regarding the supported functions of its payment applications from time to time upon request. Verifone’s Payment Application is a terminal application designed for payment processing on Verifone Devices, including credit, debit, gift, and other electronic payments. If Verifone provides its Global Payment Application (GPA) to you, you will have the ability to integrate to external ECR solutions via the Payment SDK APIs. Verifone Link Application Merchants that subscribe to the Verifone Link Solution will be provided a link to an application that you will be able to download to your own iOS, android or other compatible phone device(s). To activate the service merchant will also receive login credentials. The mPOS Device provided by Verifone can be paired with such application which resides on your compatible phone device and which enables payment processing of supported credit, debit, and other electronic payments. The use of such application is governed by the terms of these Terms and Conditions. Note: Verifone is not responsible for, and the Verifone Solution (including the Software) is not capable of, printing receipts. Merchant and/or its point of sale solution provider are responsible for printing a properly formatted receipt compliant with applicable laws. Verifone shall not be responsible for any information that is ultimately printed or displayed on merchant’s receipts.

Verifone shall not be responsible for any information that is ultimately printed or displayed on Xxxxxxxx’s receipts. Included Verifone Services Data Encryption and Data encryption services provide encryption of the sensitive credit/debit card track data elements from the payment device to the Payment Gateway, at which point the data Tokenization elements are decrypted and sent to the third-party processor and/or gateway selected by Merchant (subject to Verifone supporting such processor and/or gateway). Transactions returned from the processor or gateway are tokenized by Verifone and the tokenized transactions are then returned to Merchant’s payment device. Merchant acknowledges that Merchant is responsible for contracting with its desired third-party processor and/or gateway for their respective services. To enable encryption functionality for the Verifone payment devices with the Point Solution, the VeriShield Protect terminal application must be installed on the payment device. If Rental Devices are not provided for under this Agreement, Merchant must separately purchase a license to the VeriShield Protect terminal application; such license is not included in the Point Solution. Help Desk Services Reseller is responsible for providing level one help desk support to Merchant for the Point Solution; Merchant must contact Reseller for such support and may not contact Verifone directly. Reseller will be entitled to contact Verifone with any issues related to the Services, Software, and Rental Devices (if any) as separately agreed between Verifone and Reseller. For those that declined or did not respond with their intent to participate, the second enrolment, which only includes Microsoft Office, was automatically activated. As the Microsoft Office portion of the PML is funded by Alberta Education, there will be no cost to school authorities that only participate in this second enrolment.   • Embedded Software To the extent any goods contain Embedded Software (defined below) that is not Buyer’s Property, no title to such Embedded Software shall pass to Buyer, and Supplier shall grant Buyer, its customers and all other users a non-exclusive worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free right to use, load, install, execute, demonstrate, market, test, resell, sublicense and distribute such Embedded Software as an integral part of such goods or for servicing the goods (the “Buyer-Required License”). If such Embedded Software or any part thereof is owned by a third party, prior to delivery, Supplier shall obtain the Buyer-Required License from such third-party owner. “Embedded Software” means software necessary for operation of goods and embedded in and delivered as an integral part of goods.

  • Third Party Software 1. The Software may contain third party software that requires and/or additional terms and conditions. Such required third party software notices and/or additional terms and conditions are located at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/thirdparty/index.html and are made a part of and incorporated by reference into this XXXX.   • Server Software Subject to the terms and conditions of this XXXX, Vocera grants you the non-exclusive right to (i) install and run (“Use”) the Server Software on computer systems (each, a “Server Computer”) located at End User’s Facilities in the geographic territory designated above (“Territory”); (ii) to Use the Client Software in conjunction with Authorized Client Devices and such Server Computers; and (iii) for pilot licenses for certain Software provided on a trial basis, use such Software for the limited term specified by Vocera in writing. You may Use the standard Server Software on one primary Server Computer (or a primary cluster of computers suitably configured for productive use of the Server Software). You may install backup copies of the Server Software on backup Server Computers to provide redundancy in the event of failure of the primary Server Computer(s) but, unless you have acquired additional licenses or a failover license from Vocera, you may not run such backup or additional copies concurrently with the primary copies. Vocera grants you the right to use the applicable License Key issued by Vocera only to enable Use of the Server Software in conjunction with the licensed Server Computers. Server Software may be licensed for a Subscription Term as specified in the Quote.

  • Open Source Software The Software product may include certain open source components that are subject to open source licenses (“Open Source Software”), in which case, the embedded Open Source Software is owned by a third party. The Open Source Software is not subject to the terms and conditions of this XXXX. Instead, each item of Open Source Software is licensed under its applicable license terms which accompanies such Open Source Software. Nothing in this XXXX limits your rights under, nor grants you rights that supersede, the terms and conditions of any applicable license terms for the Open Source Software. Any fees charged by GC in connection with the SOFTWARE, do not apply to the Open Source Software for which fees may not be charged under the applicable license terms.   • Hardware and Software In order to use the Services, you must obtain and maintain, at your expense, compatible mobile hardware and software as specified by Credit Union from time to time.
