Incentive for Attendance. To reduce voluntary absences, a teacher who uses one (1) or fewer days of paid time off during the school year may choose an option listed in the following table with the District buying back paid time off reducing the teacher's paid time off total by the same number of days a teacher is eligible for and elects to receive payment in exchange for those days:

Incentive for Attendance. If an employee has no unscheduled absences (sick leave, GCTD family leave as defined in Article 5.02E, suspensions or industrial leave) in a 6-month period (November 1-April 30; May 1-October 31), a bonus of $150 for each qualifying 6-month period will be paid. If an employee has no unscheduled absences for the full contract year (November 1-October 31), an additional $100 bonus will be paid, for a maximum of $400 per contract year. Incentive for Attendance. Teachers are encouraged to be present for the instructional program whenever possible. Therefore, teachers will be paid for exemplary attendance annually as follows: Perfect Attendance $300 (per semester) One Day Absent $200 (per semester) Two Days Absent $150 (per semester) Any days missed due to authorized school activities, as well as military leave, subpoenaed jury leave, bereavement leave, Association and other subpoenaed legal leaves, shall not be charged against the requirements of the Incentive for Attendance. Except as stated above, any use of personal business leave, sick leave, or emergency leave shall count against the requirements of the Incentive for Attendance. Payment for the Incentive for Attendance for each semester will be remitted with the January and June payrolls. 1999-00 2000-01 2003-04 2006-07 2011-12 2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 2015-16 TEACHER-OF-THE-YEAR STIPENDS The Teacher-of-the-Year at each school site will receive a one-time stipend of $500, less lawful withholdings, paid at the Board of Education meeting following the selection process. The District-wide Teacher-of-the-Year will receive a one-time stipend of $1,000, less lawful withholdings, paid at the Board of Education meeting following the selection process. CLASSROOM SUPPLIES 2020-21 At any time during the school year, teachers may submit supply and equipment requests through the appropriate administrative channels. Such requests will be considered as the district’s budget permits. Supply and equipment requisitions will be made through central purchasing to insure the best possible cost of the needed supplies. All full-time, certified classroom teachers will receive a budget of up to $100 (including shipping) to purchase classroom needs utilizing District purchasing procedures. Orders for supplies must be submitted by November 1st of the school year. Teachers may submit requisitions for multiple vendors; however, the entire amount (up to $100) must be requisitioned at the same time. 2013-14 2018-19 EMPLOYMENT PROVISIONS
Incentive for Attendance. Adult Academic Program teachers shall be eligible based on hours used. Deferred Compensation Deferred Compensation shall apply to Adult Academic Program teachers with the eligibility as listed in 13-9.
Incentive for Attendance. 1. Employees working thirty (30) hours or more per week who complete a school year (beginning July 1 of each year) without using any Sick Leave, Personal Leave, or unpaid leave shall be paid a bonus of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00). These employees who complete a school year using only one (1) day of Sick Leave, Personal Leave, or unpaid leave (combined) shall be paid a bonus of Four Hundred Twelve Dollars and 50 Cents $412.50. These employees who complete a school year using only two (2) days of Sick Leave, Personal Leave, or unpaid leave (combined) shall be paid a bonus of Two Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($225.00).
