Common use of Ill Health Clause in Contracts

Ill Health. Requests for leaves of absence which extend beyond time compensated in Article 10 must be accompanied by a statement from the attending physician recommending that the employee be granted such leave. A request to return to regular duties with the Board must be accompanied by a statement from the attending physician that the bargaining unit member is able to resume his regular duties.
