SECTION 109 OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. SAFETY AND HEALTH 20.1 The Employer, employee and Union have a significant responsibility for workplace safety and health.
Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:
Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union and the employees agree to be bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7.
Occupational Safety and Health Acts Contractor(s) who perform any work under this contract shall fully comply with the provisions of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and any amendments thereto and regulations pursuant to the act. Any Contractor who fails to do so may be terminated for cause as set forth below.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH Section 1. The Labor-Management Committee established pursuant to Article XVI shall sit from time to time as an Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
Age Discrimination Act of 1975 The Contractor shall comply with the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (42 U.S.C. § 6101 et seq.), as amended, and any applicable regulations.
