Hours - other than continuous work shifts
(a) 38 hours within a period not exceeding seven consecutive days; or
(b) 76 hours within a period not exceeding fourteen consecutive days; or
(c) 114 hours within a period not exceeding twenty-one consecutive days; or
(d) 152 hours within a period not exceeding twenty-eight consecutive days. The ordinary hours shall be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the employer. An employee shall not be required to work for more than five hours without a break for a meal. Except at regular change-over of shifts an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty-four hours. A shift shall consist of a number of hours as prescribed by clause 6.1, inclusive of crib-time. Provided that in where the number of ordinary working hours to be worked on one day exceeds eight (8), agreement shall be reached between the employer, employees and the Union, subject to the provisions of Clause 2.1 Enterprise Flexibility Provision.
