Hours of Work Weekly and Daily for Full Time Employees. The normal weekly hours of work for full-time employees shall be 35 (thirty-five) over a five day period from Monday to Friday. Employees may if scheduling permits and with approval of the executive director, work between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, but all employees shall normally work during the core period of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Employees shall receive a one hour unpaid lunch period. A Part-time employee is an employee whose regular hours of work are less than twenty (20).

Employees may if scheduling permits and with approval of the Board of Directors, work between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, but all employees shall normally work during the core period of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Employees shall receive a one (1) hour unpaid lunch period. A full–time employee is an employee whose regular hours of work are twenty (20) hours up to thirty-five (35) hours per week. A part-time employee is an employee whose regular hours of work are less than twenty (20) hours per week. A contract employee is an employee hired for a specific period of time and can be either full- time or part-time. Upon completion of the contract, the provisions of Article 17 shall not apply.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.
