Hours and Attendance. In keeping with the experience of workplace life, students will generally keep the same hours as their accompanying salaried staff. This might mean that, in some weeks, students may work additional hours. However, over the duration of the placement the total hours worked should not exceed the Organisation’s standard hours. Prior approval is required from the University if the student is required, or wishes, to work in excess of the Organisation’s standard hours.

Hours and Attendance. Students are required to attend on the first day of their course at the time stated by the Administrator. Failure to attend the first day of the course will preclude you from attending any further part of that course, and you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid. You must attend all the classes, no more than 2 classes are allowed to be missed without a Doctors note. If a student is sick she needs to email a doctor’s letter to the Administrator on the dame day! Failure to meet this requirement will result in failing the course Classes will commence promptly at the discussed times, irrespective of whether all students are present. Classes will not be delayed due to latecomers, and lectures are not responsible for repeating work missed. Class times may vary at the discretion of the Administrator with prior notice to the students The school will be closed on South African public holidays. If a public holiday falls during the course, extra day/days will be added to the course
Hours and Attendance. Boricua College’s academic hours are daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturday as scheduled each academic cycle. Educational Facilitators are required to be present at least 7 hours per day at their assigned campus, Monday through Thursday and a minimum of two hours on Friday. If Educational Facilitators anticipate being late or absent, they are required to inform their immediate Senior Academic Administrator to allow for proper academic arrangements so that students do not suffer. Be aware this is an evening college. Boricua College’s students are primarily evening students. Each Facilitator may keep a record of each student’s attendance which can determine the awarding of their financial aid. Educational Facilitators are required to sign in and make-up any missed sessions of their Individualized Instruction, Colloquium, and Experiential Studies courses. Friday evenings and Saturdays are available for make- ups. The make-up schedule must be written up as a memorandum to the relevant Senior Academic Administrator.

  • HOURS AND OVERTIME 3:1 A workweek is defined as seven (7) consecutive calendar days, from Saturday midnight to Saturday midnight. The basic workweek shall consist of five (5) workdays of eight (8) hours each and shall begin Monday and run through Friday, except when a job other than for a public utility is to be done on Saturday, then the Company may assign another day as a non-workday and Saturdays becomes a workday in the basic workweek. An extended workweek shall begin at starting time Monday and continue until the next Monday starting time. The Company may change the start times by 30 minutes in either direction of the regular start time to meet the operational need without union approval. Such a change in the regular hours of work shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime.

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes.
