Common use of Hospitals Clause in Contracts

Hospitals. An employee when engaged in repairs, demolition and/or maintenance in any block or portion of a hospital used for the care or treatment of patients suffering from infectious or contagious diseases. An employee working inside a morgue in which one or more dead bodies are not in refrigeration. Service shafts When employees are required to work in service shafts on installation work on the following basis: For any day including a Saturday or Sunday where the time spent in the service shaft is not more than four hours. For any day including a Saturday or Sunday where the time spent in the service shaft exceeds four hours but not more than eight hours.
