Common use of Hospice Services Clause in Contracts

Hospice Services. In accordance with 1905(o)(3)(C), 1902(a)(13)(B) and 1902(a)(32) of the Act, and 42 CFR 447.10, the MCOP shall pay room and board payments to the hospice provider instead of the nursing facility if the member resides in a nursing facility and is receiving hospice services. Room and board payments to hospice providers must be at least 95% of the nursing facility rate.
