Common use of HOLIDAYS WITH PAY Clause in Contracts

HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 7.01 The following days shall be classed as Holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Dominion Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Family Day. Two (2) Floating Holidays shall be granted as an additional Holiday and shall be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee, provided that he notifies the Company seven (7) days in advance and providing no other employee is absent for any reason. Should Remembrance Day be declared a Public Holiday to be observed by Business, it shall replace the Floating Holiday. Floating Holidays shall be taken within the calendar year.
