Holidays Falling on Weekends. A. If Christmas Day or New Year's Day falls on Saturday, either the previous Thursday or the following Monday shall be paid days off work to coincide with the Winter Break for that particular year (December of each year) as designated on the school year calendar in the MTI Teacher's Unit Collective Bargaining Agreement. Independence Day shall be observed as a paid day off on the day designated by Congress.
