HOLIDAYS AND BREAKS. I understand that Xxxxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxx Xxxx, and Xxxx Gateway residents may remain in the residences during holidays and breaks. I further agree that first-year designated spaces in all residence halls close for specific holidays and breaks as listed in the Residence Life Guidebook.

HOLIDAYS AND BREAKS. The number of days that Employees meet with students in a year are limited and, therefore, every effort should be made to preserve them. This contract assumes full service by Employees except for necessary absences and leaves as covered in this Agreement. Absences taken during the academic year, other than those for which provision has been made under this Agreement, are not permitted.
HOLIDAYS AND BREAKS. The College shall grant bargaining unit members the following Observed Holidays as specified in the academic calendar: Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Spring Holiday (Friday before Easter), Spring Break (as specified by the College Calendar), Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Winter Break. When a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, bargaining unit members shall observe the days designated by the College (usually the Friday before or Monday after the holiday) in lieu of the Saturday or Sunday holiday. The academic calendar will be determined in accordance with College Policy. The College will provide the SFCC-AAUP President with a copy of the academic calendar prior to its adoption (per College Policy), and will, simultaneously seek input from the SFCC-AAUP.
HOLIDAYS AND BREAKS. Oak Residence Hall is officially closed during designated breaks as announced in the University calendar. Holiday and summer housing may be available for an additional fee. Xxxxx Xxxx xxx Xxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx Xxxx does not close during university holidays or breaks.

  • Holidays and Vacation Executive shall be eligible to accrue four (4) weeks of paid vacation per year and will receive paid Company holidays in accordance with Company policy.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Religious Holidays When a religious holiday, not observed as a holiday, as provided in Section 2 above, falls on a supervisor's regularly scheduled work day, the supervisor shall be entitled to that day off to observe the religious holiday. Time to observe religious holidays shall be taken without pay except where the supervisor has sufficient accumulated vacation leave or accumulated compensatory time, or, by mutual consent, is able to make the time up. Supervisors shall notify the Appointing Authority at least twenty-eight (28) calendar days prior to the leave.

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to four weeks paid vacation each Fiscal Year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. Vacation must be taken by the Executive at such time or times as approved by the Chairman of the Board or Chief Executive Officer. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days and holidays during any Fiscal Year that are not used by the Executive during such Fiscal Year may not be used in any subsequent Fiscal Year.

  • Holiday Work Employees may be required to work on holidays that fall on their workdays, in which event any such employee shall, in addition to the holiday pay, be compensated at the overtime rate of pay for all time worked on such days, or have the day added to the vacation time. If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday (Observed Holiday in effect) and on a regular workday for the employee, the Actual Holiday will be treated as a holiday worked. If the employee works both the Observed Holiday and the Actual Holiday they are only entitled to treat one of those days as a Holiday Worked.
