Holidays and Vacation Executive shall be eligible to accrue four (4) weeks of paid vacation per year and will receive paid Company holidays in accordance with Company policy.
Holidays The following days are observed as holidays by state agencies in accordance with section 110.117, F.S.: • New Year’s Day • Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., third Monday in January • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans’ Day, November 11 • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day If any of these holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday. If any of these holidays falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as a holiday. Customers may have additional holiday(s) observed specifically by the Customer which will be detailed in the Customer’s order.
Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.
Holidays Observed The following ten (10) days shall be considered holidays for full-time and part-time regular scheduled employees hereinafter referred to in this Article as “employees”: New Year’s Day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.’s Birthday Washington’s Birthday Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veterans’ Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day
Religious Holidays When a religious holiday, not observed as a holiday, as provided in Section 2 above, falls on a supervisor's regularly scheduled work day, the supervisor shall be entitled to that day off to observe the religious holiday. Time to observe religious holidays shall be taken without pay except where the supervisor has sufficient accumulated vacation leave or accumulated compensatory time, or, by mutual consent, is able to make the time up. Supervisors shall notify the Appointing Authority at least twenty-eight (28) calendar days prior to the leave.
Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to four weeks paid vacation each Fiscal Year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. Vacation must be taken by the Executive at such time or times as approved by the Chairman of the Board or Chief Executive Officer. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days and holidays during any Fiscal Year that are not used by the Executive during such Fiscal Year may not be used in any subsequent Fiscal Year.
Holiday Work Employees may be required to work on holidays that fall on their workdays, in which event any such employee shall, in addition to the holiday pay, be compensated at the overtime rate of pay for all time worked on such days, or have the day added to the vacation time. If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday (Observed Holiday in effect) and on a regular workday for the employee, the Actual Holiday will be treated as a holiday worked. If the employee works both the Observed Holiday and the Actual Holiday they are only entitled to treat one of those days as a Holiday Worked.
