Holiday Premium Pay. 1. Except as provided in paragraph 2, employees who are assigned to duty on July 4, December 25, January 1 and/or Labor Day (first Monday in September) of a calendar year shall be compensated in cash at a rate of one and one-half (1½X) their base salary for all such assigned duty worked from 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m., inclusive, during such days.
