Common use of Hold Harmless and Indemnification Clause in Contracts

Hold Harmless and Indemnification. The Union agrees to defend, indemnify and save the Employer harmless against any and all claims, suits, or other forms of liability arising out of its deduction from an employee's pay of Union dues, representation fees and/or initiation fee, or in reliance upon any list, notice, certification or authorization furnished under this Article or the termination of an employee as provided hereunder. The Union assumes full responsibility for the disposition of the deductions so made once they have been sent to the Union.
