Hiring-Seniority Sequence. (i) Within the Employer’s Section. During PDO hiring and same-day fill-in hiring, once the direct Employer’s Regular List Employees have been exhausted, the hiring in the direct Employer’s section must proceed as follows: Level 1 - Employees in Seniority Classifications A through H who are GAI-eligible and qualified have first preference. Level 2 - Employees in Seniority Classifica- tions A through J who are not GAI-eligible and qualified have second preference. Level 3 - Employees in Seniority Classifica- tions K through R have third preference. Level 4 - Employees in Seniority Classifica- Level 3 - Employees in Seniority Classifica- tion S have fifth preference. Level 4 - Employees in Seniority Classifica- tion S have sixth preference, but Level 4 employees have first preference for assign- ments to work on carships for their employ- er-sponsors when the hiring reaches their alpha-seniority classification.
