Hiring Bonus. Beginning January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018, a $5,000 Hiring Bonus will be offered to a new qualified Correctional Officer or a new Correctional Officer Cadet in a classification listed in the Appendix of this Agreement. The first payment of $2,000 shall be paid to any new qualified Correctional Officer or new Correctional Officer Cadet who: 1. Is a new appointment as of November 1, 2017 or later; or 2. A reinstatement as of November 1, 2017 or later with at least a six-month separation from State service; 3. Who successfully graduates from the Correctional Officer Academy; and 4. Agrees to work for the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for at least 3 years. The second payment of $3,000 shall be paid at the end of one year of employment to any new qualified Correctional Officer or new Correctional Officer Cadet who: 1. Successful completed the one year probationary period; 2. Received at least a Satisfactory or better overall rating on the employee’s most recent end-cycle PEP; 3. Has not been the subject of any disciplinary action during the prior 12 months; and 4. Has less than three unscheduled absences (call-ins) from work during the prior 12 months. An employee who has received a Hiring Bonus may not also receive a Recruitment and Retention Bonus.
Hiring Bonus. With respect to any new hire into the bargaining unit and at the discretion of the Superintendent, an annual bonus in addition to the annual salary specified by the appropriate salary schedule for such employee may be authorized. Any such bonus may be renewed or adjusted in amount with respect to the employee’s second and/or third year of employment in the District, but will in no event be continued thereafter, without written permission from the Executive Committee of the CEA.

Hiring Bonus. If the Board is unable to fill a vacant position with a suitable candidate after posting a vacancy notice as required in Section 3.11, the Board may, in its discretion, pay a one-time signing bonus of up to Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) to assist in employing a qualified applicant. Hiring Bonus. If the Board is unable to fill a vacant position with a suitable candidate after posting a vacancy notice as required in Section 5.8 for no less than two (2) weeks, the Board may, in its discretion, pay a one-time hiring bonus of up to five thousand dollars ($5000.00) to assist in employing a qualified applicant. The time requirement may be waived for “emergency” situations, and when a position becomes available after the last student attendance day of the year. The Board shall notify the Association whenever it deems it necessary to implement this provision. Teachers accepting a hiring bonus will be required to commit to teaching in the Prairie Central District for a minimum of three (3) years. If the teacher chooses to leave before three (3) years, the hiring bonus must be paid back to the District in full. In the event the teacher is asked to resign before the three (3) year period, the teacher will not be required to return the bonus pay.
Hiring Bonus. On the first regularly scheduled payroll date following the Start Date, Executive shall receive a one-time bonus in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), less required withholding and deductions. In the event Executive terminates his employment without Good Reason (as defined below) or is terminated for cause within the 12-month period following the Start Date, he will repay to the Company the net amount of this bonus that he received. The Executive shall not have to repay the bonus if terminated without Cause or if Executive resigns for Good Reason.
Hiring Bonus. On the Effective Date of this Agreement, the Executive shall receive a hiring bonus in the amount of $100,000.
