Common use of Higher Duties Payment Clause in Contracts

Higher Duties Payment. a. In recognition that the Company’s objective is to create a more flexible and skilled work force, from time to time employees may undertake work at a higher duty subject to safety and competence. b. For periods of less than four (4) hours; the higher duties payment will not be paid and will be considered as career development. c. For periods of four (4) hours or more; a higher duties payment will be paid to an employee who has been authorised by Management to undertake the duties of a higher classification for the hours worked at the higher duties.
