The "Heavy Duty" clause defines the standards or requirements for equipment, materials, or services that must be capable of withstanding rigorous or demanding use. In practice, this clause typically applies to products or machinery expected to operate under harsh conditions, such as industrial tools, construction vehicles, or commercial appliances, specifying durability, strength, and reliability criteria. Its core function is to ensure that supplied goods or services are fit for intensive use, thereby reducing the risk of premature failure and minimizing maintenance or replacement costs for the buyer.

1. Manufacturers or other entities responsible for the determination of the CO2 emissions of a heavy-duty vehicle ▌which are subject to Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2017/2400 or Article 8 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1362 ▌ shall report the data of the new heavy-duty vehicle in accordance with part B of Annex IV to this Regulation. By 30 September of each year, they shall report those data to the Commission for each new heavy-duty vehicle with a date of determination or of assessment falling within the reporting period ending on 30 June ▌ in accordance with the reporting procedure set out in Annex V. This paragraph shall not apply to vehicles exempted in accordance with Article 6b.
2. Each manufacturer or other entity within the meaning of paragraph 1 shall appoint a contact point for the purpose of reporting data in accordance with this Regulation.
3. The reporting obligations under Article 13a(3) and (4) shall apply to manufacturers and other entities within the meaning of paragraph 1 of this Article.
1. The Commission shall keep a central register for the data on heavy-duty vehicles (‘the central register’) reported in accordance with Articles 13a and 13b. The central register shall be publicly available with the exception of data entries listed in point 3.2. of Annex V. The air drag value shall be made publicly available in a range format as set out in Part C of Annex IV.
2. The central register shall be managed by the European Environment Agency on behalf of the Commission.
Heavy Duty. 4.9.2.1 The agreement between the Parties regarding Heavy Duty deliveries pertains (but is not limited) to the delivery of ready-mix concrete, bricks and pavers, pre-cast concrete slabs, roof tiles, and roof trusses.
4.9.2.2 The Parties agree that the Contractor must fully pre-brief the delivery company management and the drivers of Heavy Duty delivery Vehicles regarding the Rules of the Estate and the terms and conditions embedded in this Agreement regarding deliveries.
4.9.2.3 The Contractor agrees to be held responsible for any damage caused to property and infrastructure in the Estate by Heavy Duty deliveries.
Heavy Duty. Wrecker - A heavy duty wrecker is defined as wreckers having 10,001 to 20,000 GVWR equipped with a 20-ton boom rating or larger P.T.O. mechanically driven power winch, crane and boom having dual wheels or an equivalent vehicle having the same minimum capabilities.
