  • Hearing Tests Audiometric tests should be conducted within two months of a person commencing employment, and thereafter at intervals of two years.

  • Hearing Aids Any active employee who is insured under any one of the 9 District sponsored medical plans may request reimbursement for the costs of 10 hearing aids. The maximum amount of reimbursement shall not exceed one 11 thousand dollars ($1,000) within any three (3) year period. Except as expressly set forth in Section 8.8(b), the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding on the parties, and judgment thereon may be had and will be enforceable in any court having jurisdiction over the parties. Arbitration awards will bear interest at an annual rate of the Prime Rate plus 2% per annum. To the extent that the provisions of this Agreement and the prevailing rules of the CPR conflict, the provisions of this Agreement shall govern.
