Common use of Hazardous Substance Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substance. any pollutant, contaminant or any toxic, radioactive or otherwise hazardous substance, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, asbestos, and toxic mold, in each case as regulated under Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substance. any pollutant, contaminant or any Any toxic, radioactive caustic or otherwise hazardous substance, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, asbestossolid waste, contaminants, polychlorinated biphenyls, paint containing lead, urea, formaldehyde, foam insulation, and toxic molddischarge of sewage or effluent, in each case as whether or not regulated under Environmental Lawsfederal, state or local environmental statutes, ordinances, rules, regulations or orders generated by the operations or business, or located at any property, of Borrower or Guarantors.

Hazardous Substance. (a) any pollutantoil, contaminant flammable substance, explosive, radioactive material, hazardous waste or substance, toxic waste or substance, or any toxicother waste, radioactive material, or otherwise hazardous substancepollutant that: (i) poses a hazard to the Property or to persons on the Property, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, asbestos, and toxic mold, or (ii) causes the Property to be in each case as regulated under Environmental Laws.violation of any Hazardous Substance Law;
