Guiding Documents. On October 14, 2015, the Prosper Portland Board of Commissioners adopted the Broadway Corridor Framework Plan (the “2015 Framework Plan”), which was then adopted by the Portland City Council (“City Council”) on November 5, 2015. The 2015 Framework Plan provides a guiding framework for development of the entire 32-acre area within the River District commonly known as “Broadway Corridor,” and more specifically, a feasibility analysis of the acquisition and redevelopment of the 13.33-acre United States Postal Service site, located at 000 XX Xxxx Street (the “USPS Property”). The USPS Property was acquired by Prosper in 2016. The vision for Broadway Corridor, including the provision of community benefits set forth in this Agreement, is further informed, influenced, and governed by the USPS Master Plan, approved by the Portland Design Commission on August 20, 2020 (the “USPS Master Plan”).
Guiding Documents. The City of Long Beach is engaging greenhouse gas emissions inventory and reduction strategies. The City has joined the Climate Registry and the California Climate Action Registry in order to be better equipped to respond and adapt to climate change. Long Beach’s participation in the Climate Registry as a Founding Report will provide an established framework and a clear and consistent reporting mechanism to track greenhouse gas emissions. The partnership will support the City’s creation of an Energy Action Plan in accordance with the Sustainable City Plan that will demonstrate the City’s commitment to sustainability and greenhouse gas emissions. Through the ELPP model, Partnership activities will reach into communities to provide information and opportunities for energy actions, reducing the City’s environmental footprint and furthering the goals of AB 32 and the Strategic Plan.
