Common use of Guarantee Period Clause in Contracts

Guarantee Period. The length of the Guarantee Period, if any, is shown on the Contract Schedule page and may not exceed the period permitted for guaranteed payments under section 1.401(a)(9)-6 of the Income Tax Regulations (except as otherwise provided by applicable federal tax law). If this Contract has a Guarantee Period it provides annuity income through a specified date even if no Annuitant lives to the end of the Guarantee Period.
