Common use of Government Official Clause in Contracts

Government Official. “Government Official” shall mean an individual who is a representative of a Governmental Body.

Government Official. “Government Official” shall mean an individual who is a representative any employee, director, officer, agent or other person acting on behalf of a Governmental Body.

Government Official. “Government Official” shall mean an individual who is (i) a director, officer, employee, agent or representative of any government, military or state-owned or affiliated entity or organization; (ii) any department, agency, corporate entity, instrumentality or political subdivision of any government or military; (iii) any person or commercial entity acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any government or military; (iv) any candidate for political office, any foreign political party or any official of a Governmental Bodypolitical party; or (v) any officer, employee, agent or representative of any public international organization.

Government Official. “Government Official” shall mean an individual who is a representative refers to (i) any public or elected official, officer, employee (regardless of rank), or person acting on behalf of a Governmental Bodynational, provincial, or local government, department, agency, instrumentality, state-owned or state-controlled company, public international organization, or political party and (ii) any party official or candidate for political office or any person acting on behalf of such party official or candidate for political office.

Government Official. “Government Official” shall mean an individual who (a) any Representative of any Governmental Body, (b) any Representative of any commercial enterprise that is a representative of owned or controlled by a Governmental Body, including any state-owned or controlled medical facility, (c) any Representative of any public international organization, such as the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations or the World Bank, (d) any Person acting in an official capacity for any Governmental Body, enterprise, or organization identified above and (e) any political party, party official or candidate for political office.
