GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. In undertaking the responsibility for operating the federal risk pool program under this contract in the state identified in A.1, above, as a contractor of HHS, Contractor and its officers, employees, agents and subcontractors are carrying out uniquely federal interests and, to the fullest extent allowed by federal law, are entitled to the protection of the government contractor defense to liability arising from operation of the high risk pool program.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. Haleon is a federal contractor to the U.S. Government and is required to flow down to its subcontractors certain regulatory provisions, including, but not limited to, the following which are hereby incorporated by reference and made part of this Agreement as if fully set forth herein (i) the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clauses set forth in 41 CFR parts 60-1.4(a), and the employee notice found at 29 CFR Part 471, Appendix A to Subpart A; (ii) applicable requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a). These regulations prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals on the basis of protected veteran status or disability, and require affirmative action by covered prime contractors and subcontractors to employ and advance in employment qualified protected veterans and individuals with disabilities; (iii) applicable contractual provision of Public Law 95-507 concerning the Utilization of Small Business Concerns; and (iv) any law, order, or regulatory provision issued in addition, supplement or replacement of the foregoing concerning federal contractors. Xxxxx also agrees to comply with all applicable federal, state, or local statutes, ordinances, and regulations relating to non-discrimination in employment.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. As a federal Government Contractor or Subcontractor, Doctor's Associates Inc. is required to and will comply with all of the provisions of various federal laws, regulations and executive orders including Executive Order 11246, The Rehabilitation Act of 1947 and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 and amended. Doctor's Associates Inc. will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age disability or veterans' status. We will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed and the employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age disability or veterans' status. Doctor's Associates Inc. certifies it is in compliance with these laws. Consequently, the Parties agree that, as applicable, they will abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 41 CFR 60-300.5(a) and 41 CFR 60-741.5(a) and that these laws are incorporated herein by reference. These regulations prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibit discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. These regulations require that covered prime contractors and subcontractors take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disability. The Parties also agree that, as applicable, they will abide by the requirements of Executive Order 13496 (29 CFR Part 471, Appendix A to Subpart A), relating to the notice of employee rights under federal labor laws.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. Buyer may from time to time be considered a government contractor subject to the federal regulations referenced below, therefore, any Seller which is a subcontractor to Buyer, as defined in and for purposes of the relevant federal regulations (“Subcontractor”), agrees at any time Buyer is a government contractor during the performance this order, as follows:
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. NCR acknowledges that it is a covered government contractor or subcontractor under Executive Order 11246, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, and warrants that NCR has adopted and implemented affirmative action programs in full compliance with 41 C.F.R. Part 60, and that no findings of non-compliance have been made with respect to or by the Teracube software engineers currently employed by NCR by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. Purchaser has not received any notice that it is prohibited from entering into contracts or otherwise conducting business with any Governmental or Regulatory Authority.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. RADS Hospitality has not received any notice that it is prohibited from entering into contracts or otherwise conducting business with any Governmental or Regulatory Authority.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. The Company is in compliance with all affirmative action and prevailing wage obligations under any Law relating to government contractors and/or government subcontractors, including, without limitation, Executive Order 11246.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. The Seller Parent and its Affiliates are not and have not been, with respect to the Business: (i) a “contractor” or “subcontractor” (as defined by Executive Order 11246), (ii) required to comply with Executive Order 11246 or any other applicable Law requiring affirmative action or other employment-related actions for government contractors or subcontractors, or (iii) otherwise required to maintain an affirmative action plan.
