General Teaching Conditions a. Teaching duties should in general be limited to those areas directly connected with the learning process. The District agrees to investigate and implement relief from non-teaching duties such as but not limited to: collecting money for lunch, milk, books, fees and other solicitations; initiating pupil record forms; chaperoning parties; non-class related trips and other special functions.
General Teaching Conditions. 1. The provisions of this contract are not intended to limit a teacher’s rights to voluntarily accept any school activity offered to him/her. If a teacher does not wish to volunteer for any assignment which is beyond the terms of this contract, he/she is free to do so. In either case, the teacher’s right to volunteer or not to volunteer shall be without prejudice to his/her standing in the System and without censure from the System or the Association.

  • TEACHING CONDITIONS The parties recognize that the availability of optimum school facilities for both student and teacher is desirable to insure the high quality of education that is the goal of both the teacher and the Board. It is also acknowledged that the primary duty and responsibility of the teacher is to teach and that the organization of the school and the school day should be directed at insuring that the energy of the teacher is primarily utilized to this end.

  • GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS The District has empowered school communities to make decisions at the school level in return for accountability for results. To maximize the likelihood of success, each school must be permitted to implement programs that meet the needs of its students and community. Through a school-based decision-making process, each school will define the staff working conditions necessary for student success. School leadership teams will create and publish annual “school operational plans” which will outline working conditions of staff in the building. Such operational plans will be subject to the Superintendent’s review and approval.

  • WORKING CONDITIONS 10.01 The Union will co-operate with the Employer in maintaining good working conditions.

  • Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.

  • Existing Conditions Tenant accepts the Property in its condition as of the execution of the Lease, subject to all recorded matters, laws, ordinances, and governmental regulations and orders.   • Vesting Conditions Each Award of Stock Units may or may not be subject to vesting. Vesting shall occur, in full or in installments, upon satisfaction of the conditions specified in the Stock Unit Award Agreement. A Stock Unit Award Agreement may provide for accelerated vesting in the event of the Participant’s death, disability or retirement or other events. The Committee may determine, at the time of granting Stock Units or thereafter, that all or part of such Stock Units shall become vested in the event that a Change in Control occurs with respect to the Company.
