General Maintenance and Repairs. MWCP shall be responsible for maintenance and repair of the Chassis while in its possession as provided for in the procedures in the MWCP Operations Manual. However, any repairs required by the initial inspection of a Chassis and all Major Maintenance and Repairs required prior to the completion of or pursuant to a CIR, unless such Major Maintenance and Repairs result from use of the Chassis after induction into the Chassis Pool beyond normal wear and tear, shall be for the account of the Contributor. After the completion of a CIR, MWCP shall pay for the cost of all other maintenance and repairs required for the Chassis to conform to the Standards. This post-induction maintenance and repair period shall extend for six (6) months if Major Maintenance and Repair is required to be performed on chassis axles, normal wear and tear excepted. This provision solely governs repair cost liability and is not an ongoing warranty as to the condition of the Chassis after induction into the pool, such warranty being limited to the terms of Article 9.

General Maintenance and Repairs a. LESSOR shall, at its expense, maintain in working condition and good repair all appurtenances within the scope of this Lease, including, but not limited to: plumbing, wiring, electrical, heating (and, if applicable, cooling) devices, ductwork and any improvements or equipment added to the Leased Premises, whether or not the improvement or equipment was paid for by LESSEE.
General Maintenance and Repairs. Concessionaire shall maintain all concession facilities and personal property and equipment on the Premises in good condition and repair at Concessionaire's sole cost and expense at all times during the term of this contract. Concessionaire hereby expressly waives the right to make repairs at the expense of State and the benefit of the provisions of Sections 1941 and 1942 of the Civil Code of the State of California relating thereto if any there be. State has made no representations respecting the condition of the Premises, except as specifically set forth in this contract.

Additionally, carpet cleaning agents containing chlorinated solvents are prohibited. Carpet cleaning agents containing optical brighteners are prohibited. All cleaning chemicals must be appropriate for use on surfaces and safe for the environment.
