Common use of General Covenant Clause in Contracts

General Covenant. 8.1 The Licensee (whether by himself or through his employees or agents) must comply with all applicable legal requirements and must not in any way act contrary to or inconsistently with any of the laws in force in Hong Kong (including the Basic Law and the Laws of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding the National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“National Security Law”)) when carrying out the Business.
