Gameplay purchased or procured by you may be used in the Game, which may provide additional features and services when the Game is made available to you.
Gameplay. In the Game you can get items by opening virtual "cases". The “virtual in-game items” obtained can be moved to your virtual inventory or sold for a virtual game currency - Shard (Shards). “Virtual in-game items” and virtual currency have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, property or anything else except the benefits of the Game. The system (software) "Dota 2 Cases Simulator" distributes virtual objects in random order in an unlimited number of "cases". “Virtual in-game items” of different value and rarity are placed in the different categories of "cases". The Service reserves the right to correct results retrospectively or to declare results void if the result of the Game was caused by a technical default or a Player’s fraudulent behavior.
Gameplay. QoE is how well the FLAME platform is suited for this type of gameplay. We measure this QoE by understanding how engaging the game was for the trial participants and if the design of the FLAME platform prohibits certain gameplay elements. Overall, users picked up quickly on how to interact with the AR elements of the game, which were distributed around Millennium Square in Bristol. An introduction was given to the players shortly before the trial. During the more competitive games, we observed players running between the AR garden and gnome shops to get an advantage at the game. Users therefore covered a significant distance while playing and also stated that they were exhausted after two rounds of 15 minutes each. On the negative side, the lack of different strategies in the game lead to the general opinion that the game is not interesting enough to play for a longer time. Therefore, new gameplay elements and features could have a positive impact on the overall experience. We conclude that the FLAME platform was in no form inhibitive for designing mobile AR urban arena games with multiple players but instead very well-suited.
Gameplay. There are two perspectives being used in the game: first-person and third-person. First-person perspective is used when you're exploring dungeons and other locations. Third-person view is used when you're in a room or part of the dungeon/location where an event takes place or where you can interact with NPCs and objects. For example, when checking out the establishments in malls you'll be in first-person view but once you enter, you'll shift into 3rd person.
