Galvanized Steel Sheets. ASTM A 653/A 653M, A60 or G60 coating. All parts of exterior doors and frames shall be galvanized, mill-phosphatized stock bearing. Used galvanized material for interior doors and frames where scheduled for same. 1. If interior parts of galvanized doors and frames are not galvanized, they shall be primed with rust-resistant primer, as specified below. If doors and frames scheduled to be galvanized contain parts which are not corrosion-protected by galvanizing or primer, they will be rejected by the Owner.
