Funded Entitlement (FE) Clause Samples

Funded Entitlement (FE). The School accepts children from the age of 2½ as long as the entry requirements are met. Children aged 3 and 4 years are eligible to receive Funded Entitlement from their qualifying date, subject to meeting the appropriate criteria. The maximum amount of funding for FE is 15 hours per week which the School equates to five (3 hour) sessions per week. Morning sessions run from 9.00am – 12.00pm and afternoon sessions begin at 12.30pm and finish at 3.30pm. The school reserves the right to adjust the hours of the funded hours sessions and will provide parents claiming FE with a terms notice of any change. Children that attend more than 5 sessions per week or in excess of the times of the published sessions will incur fees at the stated level and payment of such fees is as per clause 9.2.
Funded Entitlement (FE). Qualifying Date: Those children aged 3 and 4 years old will be eligible to receive FE at the qualifying date. The FE is available from the beginning of the term after the child turns 3 but only whilst they are in Kindergarten. FE is not applicable for Reception aged children as per local authority guidelines. Please also see clause 9.5. Standard terms may vary for those accessing FE hours only.
