Full-time Preference on Holiday Sample Clauses
The 'Full-time Preference on Holiday' clause establishes that full-time employees are given priority when assigning work shifts on holidays. In practice, this means that if there are limited holiday shifts available, full-time staff will be scheduled before part-time or temporary employees. This clause ensures that full-time workers have the first opportunity to work and potentially earn additional pay on holidays, addressing fairness and consistency in shift allocation.
Full-time Preference on Holiday. Full-time employees must be offered the available hours on a specified holiday before these available hours are offered to any part-time employees. However, if a sufficient number of qualified permanent full-time employees cannot be obtained, the Region shall then offer the available hours on the specified holiday to a part-time employee.
