FULL-TIME FACULTY SALARY, HIRE DATES AND SENIORITY NUMBERS. 8.1 SALARY SCHEDULE – PERIODIC REVIEW The compensation philosophy as stated by President Xxxxxxx at the November 27, 2012 Board of Trustees meeting is: San Xxxx-Evergreen Community College district’s compensation philosophy demonstrates our commitment to fairness and equity. Total compensation must communicate the desire to attract and retain professional at all levels. The goal is to target the median total compensation in relation to the Bay 10 community College districts. The median for positions were (are) examined by periodic reviews as necessary to allow for the assessment of the District’s total compensation levels. Total compensation is defined by the combination of salary and benefits. The District and FA agree that beginning June 1, 2013, the District shall conduct a “periodic” review of faculty total compensation. The District and FA further agree on the following parameters for which compensation data shall be collected for full time faculty: Compensation shall be compared to include but not limited to the following:

  • Minimum Salaries 12.1 The minimum academic base salary for all Bargaining Unit members shall be as follows: Rank Effective 9/1/2019 Professor $80,250 Assoc. Professor $64,875 Asst. Professor $53,125 Instructor $45,500 Senior Librarian $80,250 Assoc. Sr. Librarian $68,875 Assoc. Librarian $62,875 Asst. Librarian $53,125 Beg. Librarian $45,500 Faculty Members earning a base salary below the effective minima shall move to the new minima and receive any across-the-board and benchmark increases under Article 10 on his or her minima. Faculty Members who will receive regional campus increases under Article 10 of this Agreement shall receive those increases before any adjustment to meet the minimum salary required by this Article.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 126. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time- and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime as provided for elsewhere in this contract. 127. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Annual Salary Review In December of each year throughout the TERM, the annual salary of the EMPLOYEE shall be reviewed by the Boards of Directors of the EMPLOYERS and shall be set, effective January l of the following year, at an amount not less than $106,500, based upon the EMPLOYEE'S individual performance and the overall profitability and financial condition of the EMPLOYERS (hereinafter referred to as the "ANNUAL REVIEW"). The results of the ANNUAL REVIEW shall be reflected in the minutes of the Boards of Directors of the EMPLOYERS.

It is expected that those salaries will typically be within 20% of employees within that unit at a similar rank and/or experience level. In exceptional cases, bargaining-unit positions may be hired at a salary above that range contingent on extraordinary experience and extramural funding.

  • Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees 35.9.1 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay for each appointment will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.
