Common use of Franchise Grant Clause in Contracts

Franchise Grant. At the request of Franchisee and in reliance on the application and information furnished by Franchisee, FRANCHISOR grants to Franchisee a non-exclusive license to use the Popeyes System, including the Popeyes Marks, solely at the Locations for the Terms on the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement and each Unit Addendum. Franchisee hereby accepts this license with the full and complete understanding that the license contains no promise or assurance of renewal or the granting of a new license at the expiration of the applicable Term, except as set forth in clause 2.5. For the avoidance of doubt, Parent will not operate Franchised Restaurants in the Territory.
