Forms and Procedures. Workers’ compensation processing shall be consistent with City procedures and in accordance with state workers’ compensation regulations. An employee who sustains a work-related injury or illness shall immediately inform their supervisor no matter how minor an on-the-job injury may appear. An employee who sustains a work-related injury or illness requiring medical care is required to seek medical care at facilities designated by the City unless they have filed a pre-designation of a personal physician prior to sustaining the work-related injury or illness.
