Food Fortification. Nigeria’s initiative to control and reduce micronutrient deficiencies began in 1990. By 2002, a new strategy was adopted to fortify staple foods with vitamin A. The Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) published mandatory standards for vitamin A fortification in flour, sugar, and vegetable oil in 2002. Nigeria is also fortifying wheat with iron. By 2004, 70% of the sugar, 100% of wheat flour and 55% of vegetable oil sold on the market, were fortified with Vitamin A. (xxx.xxxxxx.xxx).
Food Fortification. Controls will be carried out in all relevant manufacturing establishments and in accordance with GN No. 1 (as revised) and as may be ne cessary through the annual sampling and testing programme and other appropriate control procedures.

  • Medical Certification (1) The University may require an employee to provide medical certification from a health care provider for FMLA leave without pay when taken for the serious health condition of the employee or the employee's family member.

  • CERTIFICATION REGARDING DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS The undersigned (authorized official signing for the contracting organization) certifies that the contractor will, or will continue to, provide a drug-free workplace in accordance with 45 CFR Part 76 by:

  • RECYCLING CERTIFICATION The Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the Public Contract Code Section 12200, in products, materials, goods, or supplies offered or sold to the State regardless of whether the product meets the requirements of Public Contract Code Section 12209. With respect to printer or duplication cartridges that comply with the requirements of Section 12156(e), the certification required by this subdivision shall specify that the cartridges so comply (Pub. Contract Code §12205).

  • Random Drug Testing All employees covered by this Agreement shall be subject to random drug testing in accordance with Appendix D.

  • System Requirements Apple Software is supported only on Apple-branded hardware that meets specified system requirements as indicated by Apple.

  • Professional Certification The Superintendent shall at all times during the term of this Contract, and any renewal or extension thereof, hold and maintain a valid certificate required of a superintendent by the State of Texas and issued by the State Board for Educator Certification or the Texas Education Agency and any other certificates required by law.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:

  • COMPLIANCE AND CERTIFICATION 25.1 Each Party shall comply at its own expense with all Applicable Laws that relate to that Party’s obligations to the other Party under this Agreement. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as requiring or permitting either Party to contravene any mandatory requirement of Applicable Law.
