Fire Fighter. For the duration of this Agreement, the position Fire Fighter First Grade will be paid as follows: Effective July 1, 2022 $94,489 The positions of Fire Fighters 2nd grade through 4th grade, for the duration of this agreement will be paid in accordance with the following schedule:
Fire Fighter. Any employee with less than one (1) year of service in their classification shall be paid at Step 1 of the range of their classification with the exception that any newly-hired employee who must attend the Connecticut Fire Academy or equivalent shall be paid at the Trainee step until such time as he/she graduates from the Connecticut Fire Academy or equivalent at which time, his/her pay rate shall be increased to Step 1. Any employee who has completed one (1) year but less than two (2) years of service in their classification shall be paid at Step 2 of the salary range of their classification. Any employee who has completed two (2) years but less than three (3) years of service in their classification shall be paid at Step 3 of the salary range of their classification. Any employee who has completed three (3) years but less than four (4) years of service in their classification shall be paid at Step 4 of the salary range of their classification. Any employee who has completed four (4) or more years of service in their classification shall be paid at Step 5 of the salary range of their classification. Any employee who has completed five (5) or more years of service in their classification shall be paid at Step 6 of the salary range of their classification. Future appointments to the position of Lieutenant shall be subject to the posting, bidding and testing provisions of Article 8 as well as the conditions set forth in Article 8, Section E. Any employee with less than one (1) year of service in his/her classification shall be paid at Step 1 of the range of his/her classification. Any employee who has completed one (1) year but less than two (2) years in his/her classification shall be paid at Step 2 of the salary range of his classification.
Fire Fighter. The Parties understand that during this agreement that the Prefire Specialist premium pay will cease, and the work may be transferred to non-LEOFF personnel. The parties will meet and agree to eliminate the premium before the PreFire Specialist pay will cease.
Fire Fighter. All Fire Fighters shall be paid in accordance with the following steps: Step "A" is the starting pay step. For the year after appointment, the employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed for Step "A". Step "B" is the second step in the pay range. After completion of the first year, the employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed for Step "B". Step "C" is the third step in the pay range. After completion of the second year of service, the employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed for Step "C". Step "D" is the fourth step in the pay range. After completion of the third year of service, the employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed in Step "D". Step "E" is the fifth step in the pay range. After completion of the fourth year of service, the employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed for Step "E". Step "F" if the sixth step in the pay range. After completion of the fifth year of service, the employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed for Step "F".
