Common use of Financial Services Committee Clause in Contracts

Financial Services Committee. 1. The Parties hereby establish a Financial Services Committee. The principal representative of each Party shall be an official of the Party's competent authorities responsible for financial services set out in Annex 12D. 2. The Committee shall: (a) supervise the implementation of this Chapter and its further elaboration; (b) consider issues regarding financial services that are referred to it by a Party; and (c) participate in the dispute settlement procedures in accordance with Article 12.19. 3. The Committee shall meet annually, or as otherwise agreed, to assess the functioning of this Agreement as it applies to financial services. 4. The Committee shall report to the Joint Commission on the results of each of its meetings.
