Financial Services Committee. 1. The Parties hereby establish a Financial Services Committee. The principal representative of each Party shall be an official of the Party’s authority responsible for financial services set out in Annex 10D.

The principal representative of each Party shall be an official of the Party's competent authorities responsible for financial services set out in Annex 12D. 2. The Committee shall: (a) supervise the implementation of this Chapter and its further elaboration; (b) consider issues regarding financial services that are referred to it by a Party; and (c) participate in the dispute settlement procedures in accordance with Article 12.19. 3. The Committee shall meet annually, or as otherwise agreed, to assess the functioning of this Agreement as it applies to financial services. 4. The Committee shall report to the Joint Commission on the results of each of its meetings.

Financial Services Committee. 1. The Parties establish the Financial Services Committee composed of the competent authorities of each Party. Likewise, representatives of other institutions may participate when the competent authorities deem it convenient.

Financial Services Committee. The Parties hereby establish the Financial Services Committee (hereinafter the "Committee"). The main representative from each Party shall be an official from the authority of each Party responsible for financial services as established in Annex 11.8. In addition, representatives of other institutions shall be able to participate when the competent authorities consider it appropriate. The Committee: Will supervise the implementation of this Chapter and its subsequent development; Will consider affairs relating to financial services referred to it by a Party, including requests to review Section A of Xxxxx XXX, with a view to greater liberalisation; Will participate in dispute resolution procedures in accordance with the provisions of Article 11.20; and Will facilitate the exchange of information between national supervisory authorities and will cooperate in the area of advice on prudential regulation. The Committee shall meet once a year, or at a frequency agreed upon by the Committee, to review the function of this Additional Protocol in matters pertaining to financial services. The Committee shall inform the Free Trade Commission of the results of each meeting.

The Financial Services Committee established under article 26.2.1(f) (Specialised committees) shall include representatives of authorities in charge of financial services policy with expertise in the field covered by this Chapter. For Canada, the Committee representative is an official from the Department of Finance Canada or its successor.
