Final Drawings and Specifications. The Architect shall prepare final Drawings and Specifications as prescribed in the Manual of Procedures, and SDE’s Construction Requirements for
Final Drawings and Specifications. A. Construction Documents shall be prepared in accordance with District’s standards. Final technical specifications shall be prepared in conformance with the division format of the Construction Specification Institute. Architect shall cooperate with District in coordinating the Drawings and technical specifications (CSI Divisions 02 and greater) with District’s Divisions 00 Procurement and Contracting Requirements and 01 General Requirements and in jointly revising District’s General Requirements items. Architect shall provide whatever Division 01 General Requirement specifications necessary for the Project and not supplied by District.
Final Drawings and Specifications. 8.2.1. On the basis of the accepted Design Development documents and the comprehensive update on estimates of probable Total Project Costs and times of completion for the Project, coordinated with the Master Schedule, prepare for incorporation in the Contract Documents final drawings (hereinafter called “Drawings”) and Specifications to show the work to be furnished and performed by Contractor. Drawings and Specifications shall set forth in detail the requirement for construction of all work to be performed by Contractor. 8.2.2. Final Drawings shall be prepared in accordance with District’s standards. Final technical specifications shall be prepared in conformance with the sixteen division format of the Construction Specification Institute. Architect shall cooperate with District in coordinating the Drawings and technical specifications with District’s Divisions 0 and 1 standard specifications and in jointly revising District’s standard specifications. Architect shall provide whatever Division 1 construction contract specifications necessary for the Project and not supplied in District’s standard forms. 8.2.3. The same architectural and engineering team (and team personnel) that prepared the DSA submittal shall complete the drawings and specifications. If the DSA submittal is incomplete in any manner, then Architect shall continue working on drawings and specifications after DSA submittal in order to complete it, including completing all Subconsultant services, fully coordinating the drawings, and doing a quality control review. All drawings shall be brought to ninety-five percent level of completion at either DSA submittal, or shortly thereafter, and then coordinated and checked. The purpose of this subsection is to require Architect to finish the design, so far as practical, either at the DSA submittal or shortly thereafter, to retain continuity in the design team and their familiarity with the Project. For good cause, Architect may request relief from this paragraph. District may, but it not required to, conduct a peer review on the completed drawings.
Final Drawings and Specifications. Within sixty (60) days after the effective date of the Preliminary Drawings, Tenant shall submit to Landlord three (3) sets of fully detailed working drawings covering all aspects of Tenant's Work, prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed Architect (or licensed California Engineer, as appropriate). Within thirty (30) days after Landlord's receipt thereof, Landlord shall notify Tenant in writing either that the plans are: "Approved as Submitted"; "Approved Subject to Comments"; or "Disapproved," with requirements for changes and/or submittal of supplementary information. Within ten (10) days of receipt after such disapproval, Tenant shall submit to Landlord three (3) sets of corrected and/or supplemented drawings for final approval. Upon approval, Landlord shall return to Tenant one set of drawings, bearing Landlord's written approval; these plans shall be the "Final Drawings" for Tenant's Work. If not approved, the foregoing process shall repeat. Tenant's Work shall be constructed in conformity with the Final Plans, except where Landlord has given prior written approval for modification. Landlord's approval of any plans does not guarantee code compliance, efficiency, safety, or accuracy, for which Tenant is solely responsible.
Final Drawings and Specifications. After preliminary sketches and estimates have been approved, the Contractor shall proceed with the preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications as required by the Contracting Officer in connection with the Project. Reports, drawings, specifications, and estimates shall be delivered to the Contracting Officer in such sequence and at such times as required by the Contracting Officer. Following review by the Contracting Officer, the Contractor shall make such corrections as are required to obtain the Contracting Officer's approval, and shall submit prints of the final reports, drawings, and specifications.
