Fifteen Minute Breaks. 1. 15 minute breaks are afforded to employees as a privilege and are not to be considered entitlements. These breaks are paid; therefore, employees are not to punch out for them. When granted, 15 minute breaks are to be taken as follows:

Fifteen Minute Breaks. The employees will be given a paid fifteen (15) minute break both in the morning and afternoon. The break must include all traveling time. The actual time is to be marked on the time sheet. Employees who work beyond eight (8) hours in any day are entitled to an additional fifteen (15) minute break and another fifteen (15) minute break should he/she work past eleven (11) hours in any day.
Fifteen Minute Breaks. All employees' work schedules shall provide two (2) fifteen (15) minute paid rest periods during each shift. The rest periods will be scheduled approximately mid-point in the first one-half of the employee's regular work shift and mid-point in the second one-half of the shift whenever practicable, and must be taken in the vicinity of the employee's job site.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Coffee Breaks All employees will receive a coffee break not exceeding fifteen minutes in duration twice each shift. The time when coffee breaks will be taken will be at the discretion of the employee’s immediate supervisor.

  • Breaks 16.1 Two separate ten-minute tea breaks (in addition to meal breaks) shall be allowed each employee on duty during each ordinary shift of 7.6 hours or more; where less than 7.6 ordinary hours are worked employees shall be allowed one 10-minute tea break in each four-hour period. Subject to agreement between the employer and the employee, the two ten-minute tea breaks may alternatively be taken as one 20-minute tea break, or by one ten-minute tea break with the employee allowed to proceed off duty ten minutes before the completion of the normal shift finishing time. Such tea break(s) shall count as working time.

  • Tie Breaker In the event a reduction in number of teachers creates a situation requiring that a choice be made among teachers who have equal seniority, the selection of the teacher(s) for purposes of reduction shall be at the discretion of the School District based on criteria including performance, training, experience, skills in special assignments, special or advanced certifications obtained in the teacher’s field and subject matter employed, and other relevant factors.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

  • MEAL PERIODS AND REST BREAKS 4.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 4.2 no employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being allowed a meal break of not less than half an hour.

  • Tandem Transit Traffic 12.1 As used in this Section, Tandem Transit Traffic is Telephone Exchange Service traffic that originates on CBB's network, and is transported through Verizon’s Tandem to the subtending End Office or its equivalent of another carrier (CLEC, ILEC other than Verizon, Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) carrier, or other LEC (“Other Carrier”). Neither the originating nor terminating customer is a Customer of Verizon. Subtending End Offices shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG). Switched Exchange Access Service traffic is not Tandem Transit Traffic.
