Field Trip Supervision Sample Clauses

The Field Trip Supervision clause establishes the requirements and responsibilities for overseeing students during off-campus educational activities. Field Trip Supervision. Teachers will be compensated at the regular substitute pay rate for supervision of District approved field trips during student vacation periods and/or weekends. Teachers on overnight trips during the school week shall receive an overnight duty stipend of $30.00. All overnight trips must have a minimum of one teacher plus one other chaperone per 15 students. Overnight trips having both boys and girls involved must have a male and a female adult present. Overnight trips must be approved at least two (2) months in advance by the principal. Exceptions to advance approval may be arranged with the Superintendent. Extra compensation does not apply when staff members receive a stipend related to activity.
Field Trip Supervision. If the Principal of the school of which a participating class or organization is in need of additional supervision, a classified employee may be permitted to supervise that activity at the employee’s regular rate of pay.
Field Trip Supervision. Teachers who accompany children on overnight field trips will do so on a voluntary basis. They will have the right to recommend exclusion from the trip children whose presence they feel would be detrimental to the health and safety of all involved. Teachers who accompany children on overnight field trips shall be compensated at the same level as that in the STA agreement.
