FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. The Fund payments which are the subject of this Agreement are considered federal financial assistance subject to the Single Audit Act, 31 U.S.C. §§ 7501-7507, and the related provisions of the Uniform Guidance, 2 C.F.R. §203 regarding internal controls; §§200.330 through 200.332 regarding subrecipient monitoring and management, and subpart F regarding audit requirements, the requirements of which are incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth herein.

This financial assistance shall be provided in the form of a Grant. The OPWC Grant Control No. is CI40S. Once this grant amount is fully expended, the loan amount, which is part of this Project Agreement, will be drawn on for disbursing the remaining OPWC obligations contained in this Agreement.   • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Audit Requirements for Recipients of State Financial Assistance For purposes of this paragraph, the word "Contractor" shall be deemed to mean "nonstate entity," as that term is defined in section 4-230 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The Contractor shall provide for an annual financial audit acceptable to the Client Agency for any expenditure of State awarded funds made by the Contractor. Such audit shall include management letters and audit recommendations. The State Auditors of Public Accounts shall have access to all records and accounts for the fiscal year(s) in which the award was made. The Contractor shall comply with federal and State single audit standards as applicable.
