Family vacations. Parents considering a vacation that requires a child’s absence from school should discuss the matter with the principal and the child’s teacher(s) well in advance of departure. Make up work should be completed as directed by the teacher(s). A written request must be sent to the office requesting permission for the student to be released from the class for the days in which he/she will be gone. Missed assignments will be given to the student upon their return to school. Field Trips • Field trips are designed to correlate with teaching units and to achieve curricular goals. • All grades do not always have the same number of field trips. • Field trips are permissible for all grades when advanced planning, location, and the experience ensure a successful learning opportunity. • Individual teachers, in consultation with the Administration, reserve the right to restrict or deny student participation on any field trip due to, but not limited to, poor academic performance and/or poor conduct. • A written official permission slip, signed by the parent, is required before a child will be permitted to attend a field trip activity. • Although it is not encouraged, parents may refuse to permit their child from participating in a field trip by stating so on the proper form. Students, who do not attend due to parental choice, will remain at home with the parent and will be marked absent for the day. • All monies collected for a field trip are non-refundable. • Cell phones are not allowed on field trips unless otherwise directed by the teacher and/or administration.
Family vacations. Parents/guardians whose children do not attend the YEP during any one or all of the following weeks of the year will not be responsible for payment for the week(s) that their children are not in attendance if the parent notifies the Director in writing, two- weeks in advance that the child will not be attending: • October Break • Christmas BreakSpring Break • Thanksgiving week To be released from responsibility for payment during any of the above breaks, the child may not attend any days in that break.

If a family insists on taking a vacation during the school year, a Vacation Policy form must be submitted to the school office prior to the vacation. You are expected to pay your regular tuition and pre-payment of tuition must be made prior to your vacation if your tuition date is due while away.   • PAID VACATIONS The Employee shall be entitled to annual paid vacations of six (6) weeks in each year of the Term and any extension of the Term at such times and for such periods as may be mutually acceptable to the Company and the Employee, in accordance with the Company’s policies governing vacations for its executive officers generally. Unused vacation in any given year shall not accumulate from year to year and Employee shall not be entitled to any cash payment for, or payment in lieu of, unused vacation time.

  • Banked Vacation Once every five years an employee may bank one full year's vacation to be taken in conjunction with the next year's vacation. For the purposes of this clause, all vacation in the second year must be taken concurrently.

  • Vacations; Leave The Employee shall be entitled to annual paid vacation in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors for executive employees and to voluntary leave of absence, with or without pay, from time to time at such times and upon such conditions as the Board of Directors may determine in its discretion.

  • Vacations and Sick Leave The Executive shall be entitled to paid annual vacation leave in accordance with the policies as established from time to time by the Board of Directors, which shall in no event be less than four weeks per annum. The Executive shall also be entitled to an annual sick leave benefit as established by the Board for senior management employees of the Bank. The Executive shall not be entitled to receive any additional compensation from the Bank for failure to take a vacation or sick leave, nor shall he be able to accumulate unused vacation or sick leave from one year to the next; provided, however, such Executive may carry forward from year to year a maximum of ten days of unused vacation leave.

  • ANNUAL VACATIONS Paid annual vacation for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be allowed as follows:

  • Accrued Vacation It is further agreed by the parties hereto that, upon sale or transfer of ownership of any store or upon dissolution of business, vacation pay for all months worked for which no vacation pay has been given shall be immediately paid to all employees coming under this Agreement, regardless of length of time said employee has been with the Employer.

  • Paid Vacation Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no later than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned. Following the completion of six (6) months of service, the employee shall be entitled to use earned paid vacation.
