Fair Employment Practice. The provisions of the Agreement and the wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment, shall be applied without regard to race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, handicap, or marital status, or membership in, or Association with, the activities of any employee organization.
Fair Employment Practice. The A/E agrees in performing this agreement to comply with all statutory employment requirements, including, but not limited to, the provisions of the "Illinois Human Rights Act" (775 ILCS 5/1-101 et seq.) and "An Act to prohibit discrimination and intimidation on account of race, creed, color, sex or national origin in employment under contracts for public buildings or public works" (775 ILCS 10/1 et seq.).

The employer may discharge any employee for cause which may be deemed sufficient provided there shall be no discrimination for any reasons including race, color, creed or gender on the part of the employer against any employees. In the event of discharge or lay off, the employee shall be notified no later than twenty (20) minutes before the end of the work shift. The employee must be paid in full at the time of lay off or discharge. The employer and the union shall work together cooperatively to make reasonable accommodation to an employee’s physical or mental disability or medical condition.
Fair Employment Practice. The City of Xxxxxxxxx assures any technique or procedure used in recruitment and selection of employees shall be designed to measure only the job-related qualifications of applicants. No recruitment or selection technique shall be used which, in the opinion of the City Manager or his/her designee, is not justifiably linked to successful job performance. It is the policy of the City that no technique, procedure or policy in recruitment and selection shall be discriminatory to any group protected by state or federal legislation.

All employees shall be retained on the job except for the following reasons: willful neglect of duty, incompetence, or conditions beyond the control of the Employer.
Fair Employment Practice. 13.1 SUBCONTRACTOR agrees to comply with all laws, rules and regulations applicable to the Work prohibiting Discrimination in employment.
Fair Employment Practice. The Board and the Union recognize their respective responsibilities under federal and state laws and regulations relating to fair employment practice. The Board and the Union affirm their commitment not to discriminate with respect to bargaining unit jobs because of race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or handicap, Vietnam era and special disabled veterans and to administer this Agreement in accordance with applicable fair employment practices, laws and regulations.
