Faculty Meeting. (The Union shall have input into the agenda of the meeting. The last ten (10) minutes of the meeting shall be devoted to Union business.)
Faculty Meeting. Faculty meetings will be scheduled for those days during which most part time certificated faculty members are normally present, as based on their teaching schedule. Further, the parties agree that the specific date, time and location of these meetings will be reasonably publicized in advance. Finally, the parties agree that less than full time faculty members are obligated to attend the meetings if their assigned class schedule is contiguous with the scheduled meeting, but are under no obligation to attend the meetings if their schedule is not contiguous with the scheduled meeting.
Faculty Meeting. The unit members shall attend one (1) faculty meeting each week when scheduled by the principal, and the unit members shall be provided with an agenda prior to each meeting. No unit member shall be required to remain in attendance at such meetings past 4:00 p.m. unless in an emergency or unusual situation as declared by the principal.
Faculty Meeting. 1. Upon request, an Association representative shall be allowed to make brief announcements at the conclusion of any faculty or other professional meetings, unless an earlier time is mutually agreeable.
Faculty Meeting. As part of the formal agenda of Convocation, college-wide meetings, or a meeting as defined, a Local representative shall be allotted time as mutually agreed upon, for announcements and discussion of matters pertaining to the bargaining unit.

The Middle School may hold such school building staff meetings before school. Before school building staff meetings for all other schools are subject to staff approval. Unless another time is mutually agreed upon between the administration and the staff members involved, such meetings shall start as soon as practicable, and such meetings shall not generally exceed one (1) hour in length. Every effort shall be made to limit such meetings to one (1) per month. The duration and frequency limitations provided for above may be exceeded if the administration is able to demonstrate the need for such additional time or meetings. It is understood that this provision shall not be applicable to certified school nurses, who may be required to attend several meetings per month as part of their position. In addition to the above meetings, it is understood that other professional meetings such as team meetings, IEP meetings, 504 Plan meetings and Department meetings may need to be scheduled as needed as long as they do not infringe on the minimum planning time in Section 5 of this Article.

Faculty Meeting. Time during the contract day aside for the purpose of allowing the entire building staff to meet. Meetings may be to disseminate information or provide a forum for group discussion. Fifteen (15) minutes may be added to the work day once per month to accommodate a faculty meeting. A minimum of two (2) days’ notice shall be given to all building certificated employees for a faculty meeting in which the work day has been extended, unless unforeseen circumstances necessitate a meeting.

Faculty Meeting. Each principal shall hold a monthly meeting with his faculty for the purpose of providing communication between the teaching staff and the principal. Each staff meeting will embed time for discussion. Staff are required to attend the meeting which will not exceed 45 minutes. Absence from the staff meeting must be approved by the building administrator. When possible, this communication must occur prior to the meeting.
